Here are a set of questions to use a checklist when you are reviewing which beauty salon equipment suppliers to do business with:
- Does the company sell only quality salon and spa equipment from top brands? (See the display of top brand logos below).
- Does the company have a warehouse and showroom?
- Does the company offer services such as salon design & layout and do the staff have an interior design background?
- Do the company’s staff have an interior design background?
- Does the company accept credit cards? (Note: Beware of companies that don’t. Using a credit card when first doing business is your best protection.)
- Does the company have a Federal I.D. Number?
- Is the company a member of the Better Business Bureau?
- Does the company have a Dunn & Bradstreet Number?
- Is the company rated highly by the manufacturers it represents?
- Does the company offer nationwide repair, installation and maintenance service?
- Are the delivery times of equipment realistically quoted so you can plan the arrival of your equipment to best suit your schedule?
- Does the company offer an extended warranty on the products it sells?
- Is the company a member of related beauty business organizations?
